The ALL for Students grant, which stands for “Achieving, Leading and Learning”, launched in 2013 to provide financial support for activities at Student AVMA (SAVMA) Chapters. The ALL for Students grant is reserved for the SAVMA Chapters and Associate Organizations represented in the SAVMA House of Delegates. The grant provides funding in four focus areas: Wellbeing, Professional Development, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and Community Outreach. This grant is funded by AVMA, AVMA LIFE, AVMA PLIT and SAVMA and is administered by the AVMF. Over the past several years the ALL for Students grant program has provided support for over 500 programs per year to over 19,000 Student AVMA members.
AVMA
The American Veterinary Medical Association's vision is to be the trusted leader in protecting, promoting and advancing a strong, unified veterinary profession that meets the needs of society. The mission of the Association is to lead the profession by advocating for its members and advancing the science and practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal and human health.
AVMA LIFE
Since its establishment in 1957, the AVMA LIFE Trust has been moved by what moves you. AVMA LIFE goes well beyond offering veterinarian-inspired coverage. Our program aligns insurance benefits with your wants and needs to help you save money and protect your family.
AVMA PLIT
The AVMA founded the Trust in 1962 as a means to ensure that veterinarians would have an advocate in the management of their professional liability claims. The security, stability, and strength over the past five decades explain why the PLIT-sponsored Program is the first choice for so many veterinarians and veterinary students for business, malpractice, and personal insurance solutions.
SAVMA
The Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) exists to support, empower, and inspire all veterinary students in improving their lives, education, and career, along with securing a better future for our profession through collaboration with our parent organization, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). The objective of SAVMA is to introduce veterinary students to the concept of organized veterinary medicine; to promote, enhance and support professionalism and veterinary medical education; and to encourage the development and empowerment of students as leaders in the profession of veterinary medicine and the community as a whole.
AVMF
As the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the AVMF is dedicated to the mission of developing resources to advance the science and practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal and human health. To achieve this mission, the AVMF provides programs in Education, Advocacy, Research and Service.
